Dr. Peter Rost. Former Vice President of Pfizer.
Rost, former vice president of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world (Pfizer), straddles ties between doctors and drug companies.
Rost once wrote: “It is frightening how many similarities there are between the industry and the Mafia. The only difference is that all those people in the pharmaceutical industry see themselves as decent citizens. But when they come together as a group and run these businesses, there seems to happen. You can compare with the atrocities of war: people do things which they would not consider themselves capable. If someone is part of a group, he can do things he normally would not because the group approves his actions. ”
In 2004, Rost pointed to tampering with figures at Pfizer. In December 2005 he was fired. Then he wrote his book The Whistleblower, in which he reveals the obscure techniques used pharma giant to lay off more than 10,000 employees of the company after the acquisition of the Swedish Pharmacia.
Dr. Rengen Virapen, Eli Lilly
Virapen was 35 years in the service of the big pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly, which he has described himself as “one of the biggest and most evil pharmaceutical companies in the world.” He resigned to warn the public about the dangerous motives and evil practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
“People are dying from the use of psychiatric drugs and this is legalized,” said Dr. Virapen. “I bribed personally Swedish officials to bring the drug Prozac on the Swedish market.”
Olsen worked for 15 years for various pharmaceutical companies. She sold drugs and spent visiting as a representative to hospitals. She had a “spiritual awakening” and suddenly saw what she was doing. She saw how they inflicted damage to her fellow man.
Olsen explains that pharmaceutical companies train representatives to inform people wrong. She gives a number of years presentations and lectures to make the people aware. “The industry is trying to find a cure for cancer, for Alzheimer’s or heart disease, because the whole industry would suddenly become redundant. That does not make sense, “she said. “The industry diseases properly maintained and does just treating the symptoms.”
“Activists and researchers have known for decades that antidepressants are no more effective than a placebo. Yet there are 44 million people taking antidepressants, “says Olsen.
